Settings menu items missing

My wife is always messing with the menu and settings on her S9. She asked me how to setup a lock screen message to display a phone number for someone to call if she were to lose her phone and someone found it. I've set this up many times on other phones (I have a Pixel 3 and this is located in Security & Location/Lock Screen Preferences/Lock Screen message).

I have literally spent hours looking through her Settings Menu items. In her Lock Screen setting it only has a couple of menu items, such as what type of lock screen PIN or pattern to set up. It appears that somehow she has changed a setting and reduced the options in her Settings Menu. All of the Settings screens look like they are missing some options. Any idea how to get the full amount of options back?

Can you post a screenshot to compare?
You cant change those menus unless you root your phone and install a custom rom , which I dont think is the case.
I'll provide a screenshot of my note 9 for reference. Screenshot_20190731-220524_Settings.jpeg

I can't post a screenshot as I don't have access to her phone now. All hers has is an option to set a lock screen, such as swipe, PIN, pattern, etc. It doesn't have any of these other items showing. She doesn't have Clock Style or any of the others. The Contact information menu selection you have is what I'm looking for.

You know, something just hit me. I think she actually removed her lock screen completely. I wonder if that is why some of these options are gone.....because she doesn't have one set up?

How did she remove the lock screen?

She set the lock screen method to "none" so there is no lock screen at all. You just tap the power button or touch the screen and it comes up. When I get access to the phone again I will just set a simple swipe lock screen and see if the other options show up.

Is it possible that she switched to easy mode?Screenshot_20190731-235215.jpeg

No, it was in Standard Mode when I was looking through it. As I said, I'll set up a lock screen method next time she will let me work on it for a while, such as swipe or pattern, then I have a feeling the menu options might appear.

You need to have a lockscreen method on to have contact information on the lockscreen. Otherwise you don't have anything to put contact info on. If the phone is not locked as well, if it's lost the person who found it will either look immediately on the contacts app anyway or do things to reset it and steal it. So it's better to lock it securely.
