Do you have the L preview installed? If so, then there's reports of Miscellaneous causing the same type of battery drain for other users as reported here: https://code.google.com/p/android-developer-preview/issues/detail?id=189 If you are using the preview, then the issue may (should) be fixed with the official release.

It's been marked as fixed, so the problem shouldn't be an issue once the OTA rolls out.
