Android Central Question

I have to manually reset DAILY to 10min. AAAAAARRRGH . It appears the updates killed the options for user-set options in favor of increased batt life. I hate the updates. I hate the new apple-like interface. Defeats the whole point of having stayed with the Android platform. fml

Hi, if you can register a account here, me or other members be happy to assist you.

You can look see if you have power saving mode on that's overriding your settings.

Check your battery settings under Device Care. If you have Optimize settings turned on it will reset the screen timeout to 30 seconds every night at midnight by default.

That doesn't work at all it is not a solution. My phone is set to high performance. It doesn't matter if you change the setting to optimize, medium or maximum. The phone still resets to 30 seconds every night at midnight.

It's not controlled by the power mode setting. The setting is found as illustrated below.
