sgs2 power button

I recently water damaged my sgs2, the damage was outside the manufacture warranty so i got it repaired by a phone shop which managed to fix phone apart from the power button, so now if my phone completely runs out of battery I have to remove the battery and replace to reboot the phone and get it on, is there any easy of turning the phone on without using the power button? Maybe changing the home button to do the same job? Thanks in advance

I doubt that can be changed....it's like there is some corrosion on the contacts in the switch. Anyways, it's probably cheaper too buy an extended battery for the phone and keep it alive all day then send it away too be fixed
