I am leaving Sprint after 11 years and need to decide between the SGSIII and the Note 2. I currently have the SGSII. My main concern is the size of the phone in my pocket. That was also my concern before getting the SGSII.

Removable storage and batterty are important. I would also like to ise Foxfi for free tethering.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Oh well another one bites the dust q leave 3 more come esp since we are the only company with unlimited lte and jb on the sgs3

If you want to fit the device in your pocket go for the s3, Unless you're the green giant. As far as the foxfi issue goes I couldn't tell you but I know it doesn't work for tmo

I guess it depends on what you are going to do with your device too, the only big difference between the Galaxy S 3 and Note 2 is 1. Obvious screen size and the internal processor (SGS3 Dual Core 1.5 vs Note 2 Quad Core 1.6) Also SGS3 is Snapdragon S4 and Note 2 is Exynos (Samsungs own chipset) but that really doesn't make too much a difference performance wise for apps.

If you are willing to Root and flash custom roms than you can always find enough tether options that work... FoxFi work around can probably be found on XDA Developers for Stock Roms..

Both devices support up to 64 GB SDXC memory cards and the battery on the Note 2 is 3100 MaH vs 2100 Mah on the SGS3 but that's probably due to being able to multitask on the note 2 and screensize.

Btw anyone know if note 2 battery works on s3?
