SGSIII ROMs Galore! The Flasher's Lounge.

I've been running the M1 build of CM10 for a few days and I've decided to keep it as my daily driver. Haven't seen anybody the data issues I had with the nightlies I tried a few weeks ago, and it's great to be running Jelly Bean on all my devices.

I have the NFL Mobile app running on my nexus on JellyBro

How? With the VZW bloat? I tried to flash that Zip on CM10 and it just hung on "activating" for half an hour before i gave up. The VZW Login apk floating around won't work on any android 4.1 ROM I've tried...

I am running JellyBro(CM10 9/11 release) on my Galaxy Nexus and have the vzwlogin that works with that device. On the Nexus I just had to install it and then install the NFL mobile and it works.

On the S3 I am running CleanRom( 2.0.1)ICS type rom, and have the NFL mobile working as well.It involved renaming a file and installing the vzw login from the market.

I am not sure which device you have the S3 or the Galaxy Nexus that you are running CM10?

I can post the link to download the vzw login for the nexus But I am not sure it would work for the S3 since that same vzwlogin didnt work for me on the S3 .As mentioned on the S3 I had to rename a file which was a hit or miss as some Roms didnt have that file that I renamed and some did.

This VZW login worked for me on the Galaxy Nexus running CM10(JellyBro),it didnt work for me on the S3 running CleanRom(2.0.1)which is an Ice Cream Sandwich Base Rom

Thanks for the linkings. I'm on the S3 w/ CM10 M1. I havent seen Jellybro available for the VZW S3. Wonder why it would work on the Nexus and not the S3. Might as well give it a whirl

AOKP now has a build for the Verizon SGS III. Unfortunately, won't be able to try it out until sometime this evening. Looking forward to giving it a try.

I've been running CM10 m1 on my SGSIII, but have been thinking about flashing the latest AOKP build. I'll probably flash it later today and give it a whirl.

I flashed the HD modem last Friday. Was running the G1 version before that. At work I've always had a problem holding an LTE signal, and that's also the case with the HD modem. LTE/3G transitions seem a bit faster.

Best thing to do is try it and see how your phone responds. I suggest downloading the versions that are flashed via recovery so that it's easy to switch back to your current version.

Sooo whos updated their modem to the HD modem or G7 . I am still on the F2 modem which came already installed on my S3 .I am having no signal issues ,just curious if the newer modem so that much of an improvement .Below is a link to the modems to which I referred to
[OFFICIAL][MODEMS] <VRLHD> Verizon SGS3 (SCH-I535) [ODIN or RECOVERY-flashable] - Verizon Galaxy S3 Development - RootzWiki

You should know by now that I already had that in our forums :). Come on man... you disappoint me.

Going to have to give these radios a shot soon, just been lazy lol.

LeanKernel 1.1 is available. Fixes an issue with charging the phone when it's powered down.

Flashed CleanRom 2.5 yesterday. Does anyone know why the baseband still says VRLF2? The ROM is supposed to be based on VRLG7 build. In fact the build number actually says VRLG7 but the baseband is still VRLF2. Thanks.

It is based on the G7 build, it will not flash a modem file with the ROM. You need to flash the modem yourself to get to G7. ROMs will never and should never flash radios for you. If they do I would be expecting a lot more bricked devices.

I upgraded to HD radio yesterday. Noticed no difference.
Now where I saw the difference was with CM10 nightly 10-4 rom. This ROM has the Radio Interface Layer patched. This made a HUGE difference in 3G-4G handoff and 3G drops. I never am seeing the phone now with no data.

Glad to hear that the new CM10 RIL improves data connectivity.

Edit: One of the AOKP team members put together a flashable zip to patch build 4 with the RIL fix. Just flashed it during lunch and will report back with my observations.

Got it thanks

AOKP is a CM10-derived ROM. In any event, it's my understanding that the AOKP fix is somewhat different than what CM did, and that the AOKP version was submitted to the CM gerrit for review.

Edit: Never mind. I think I misread your post. I'm running AOKP, not CM10. Too soon to tell how the fix affects my phone.
