Shadow (Xtreme) vs. Incredible

LOL; yeah, thats just it, there will always be those having to buy it just for that, but look at the EVO4...it continues to get slammed for its size.
Can you point to a review that slams it for its size? I haven't found one yet. Or maybe quote the anti-big-screen text of the review from the WaPo that you mentioned earlier?

I notice that you only mentioned one point in an attempt to validate your argument, and didn't even say what social networking that Google did better.

Sent from Sir Brian's HTC Droid Incredible using Tapatalk

Facebook and twitter integration directly into contacts. Sense added that, but Google integrated it into Android.

Deleted earlier posts (off topic).

The only thing I dislike about the Xtreme is that it doesn't run stock. If it didn't have the 3rd party skin, it would blow the Incredible out of the water.

I agree with Droid800. 3rd party skins just add some little extras (scenes, more SN intergration, etc.) that make the interface a little more user friendly but the true Android experience comes with stock. 2.1 was nice but 2.2 is a definite improvement and it's not even official yet. There are a lot of ways to make stock like Sense like using custom launchers and themes.

Just do a google search on recent reviews of the device.

What happened? Deleting all your post on here and under the Incredible section simply cause your views were opposed?????:confused::confused:

I did. I went through ~20 reviews and not one of them had a bad thing to say about the size. Your turn.
I've never heard any bad things about the EVO's size neither. It's the best phone on the market running Sense UI. The OP is just trying to knock the EVO to feel better about the Incredible.

I also looked in threads on the EVO forums here and at Android Forums and found a total of three people who said that they thought it was a little big.

Far from it, how come you had to go through and delete all your previous messages here and over in the Incredible section? Was it because you kept stating the EVO4 has an AMOLED touchscreen just like the Incredible? Well, that kind of sums it up there; gotta get the facts straight. Are you sure you are even familiar with the EVO4 as it does not have an AMOLED touchscreen as you kept insisting.

Anyways, here is a good comparison for you:

Beyond that, there are plenty of similar reviews out, just have to run a search for it.

Well, like anything, all depends on your source. It like someone on here things the Droid is still better than the Incredible  Does anyone ever go against what they own no matter how bad it is? No People will over look anything to feel what they own is the best, whether that is accurate or not

Again, the EVO4/Xtreme is an interesting device, but if I were to go with something like that, I wouldn't settle on the imitation version, get the real thing and buy the iPad.

See previous replies or just look at the reviews yourself.

Though it sounds like both you and other one who is determined to see it one way and one way only, whether it is accurate or not...geez.

Ok fine, to go along with what your other buddy thinks...The EVO4/Xtreme is not too big, but does have an AMOLED touchscreen. Guess you two are going to believe what you want to believe  Wow, check out that AMOLED touchscreen on the EVO4...amazing. Do I make my point? Thank You!

So, you can't back up what you say. I don't care about Inc vs. EVO. I'd rather have the Inc for the VZW network, FWIW.

I think it is best if you go back and read through this thread again...you keep asking the same questions over and over even after they are answered. The issue of the size was highlighted in another referenced thread on here or you can look at various reviews like the WP.

Like fearmychickens, I hope that you too don't believe too the EVO4 has an AMOLED touchscreen???? I think your responses and fearmychickens's on this issue have pretty much clarified where you are both coming from. Get an iPad and be happy. For the majority of consumers, they are looking for the best display with the most practical, yet pocket-able size...HTC Incredible.

Good Luck! :D

Is that why the Droid is still the most popular Android device? I mean most of the people I know have never even heard about the Incredible. And what are you talking about? I know the EVO's screen isn't AMOLED. In fact, that's good because AMOLED screens are harder to see in light areas. I'd rather have the TFT screen on the Droid which is just as vibrant but more viewable in lighter areas. :p

Yeah, I keep asking you to provide a review that says that the EVO is too big (because that relates to the Shadow potentially being too big). The only one you have mentioned is the Washington Post...which you can't link to because it requires a membership. You also won't quote it for us. So, it has not been answered yet.

No it wasn't. Prove me wrong. Which post number is this link in?
or you can look at various reviews like the WP.
I already addressed the WP and there are no other reviews that say it is too big (I have found several that say that it is very pocketable, BTW).

Don't know and don't care.

Mods - close this thread!

No you do not and now you are going back what you have been saying for the past day over in the Incredible thread about this issue. You went on and on about how the EVO4 is just like the Incredible and is AMOLED. You were talking in circles with one contradiction after another. Then you went back and deleted all your messages about it.

Case close; Mods - close this thread!

I know the EVO's screen isn't AMOLED.
