Share photos taken on your Note 8!

I must be missing something here because all these photos look super nice. I guess I really don't know how to take photos so is anyone doing any tweaking to the camera to make it look so nice? I thought I was taking some good videos until I saw some videos from a LG V20 by far was much crisper than mine. I had a LG V20 last year and I remember how nice the camera was on it but I didn't have anything else to compare it to at the time.

I'm still playing with the note camera to see where it's strengths and weaknesses lie. So can't really comment on it yet.
I've took a fair few on the S8 forum though.
I generally shoot in manual mode and edit maybe 10pc of them.

So to answer your question, I'm not doing anything special with them per se' .
They may be complete garbage though, eye of the beholder and all that.
And composition is of more importance to me in a forum. And it is better to post them than not post them.

My 2yr old daughter has a new found love for Dachshund's from watching the Secret Life Of Pets movie. Every time she sees one she runs over to it calling it Buddy and tries to pet it

That movie was released after we had Buster and his "brother" Buddy the Cavachon

Great shots! Yeah, I'm still playing around with the 2x zoom. It is limited, but I think it has its uses. Since the 26mm equivalent focal length of the standard lens distorts perspective (e.g., nose looks bigger), I think the 2x lens looks more pleasing for portraits shots when lighting is good. For other than portraits, I think sneaker zoom is best, if that is possible/practical.

Live focus seems not bad when background is different enough from subject, but using the lens blur filter in photoshop will give a more realistic effect, but is more work.
