I guess it's not just the US that goes Christmas crazy earlier every year then, hugh? Over here, we're starting to see Christmas stuff at Halloween on October 31st in recent years... marketing!!!

That's nothing. My wife is from the Philippines. Christmas season there starts September!

What setup do you have for the tripod / remote shutter ?

I used a Joby gorilla grip for some of my sunset shots. No remote shutter, just used the timer.

Timer works but you can also use your earbuds (volumn up and down buttons).

The remote shutter is a Bluetooth one I got on Amazon. Performs really well. Zodiac is the brand.
