If you laid it down, with the bottom facing forward, it would look like an old school, color matched, hood mounted tachometer!

It was only 54 degrees F but sunny and no wind so I was able to get some great pictures at the beach where we used to camp yesterday. Drove down and parked in the public lot and shot a few while enjoying the sunshine. Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable, MA on Cape Cod Bay at low tide.





The horizontal stripe about 1/3 of the way up the picture is the Access Trail where we drive the
truck campers/RVs out onto the beach. You need a seasonal pass and several other rules and
regs need to be met as well, but there's 4.5 miles of beach to camp on (depending on where
the Piping Plovers nest - long story).

A couple of more from yesterday... first one shows the lower public parking lot, shooting down the length of the beach. I labeled the beach to show what's public and what's ORV (Paid Offroad Permit Only - that's where we used to camp. You can "Day Trip" also, you don't have to have a camper).

The second shot is the Public Beach Bath House, Concession Stand, First Aid Station, Lifeguards Quarters, etc. - just re-built in 2016. It came out really nice - the old one was in tough shape!
