gernerttl, Just curious, how can you tell?
From the length of the tail, which you can't see in this photo. A long, "dragon" like tail means it's male. A short tail is female.

You can't really tell until it is an adult, which is at about 20 years. Hawaiian green sea turtles live to over 100 years.

OMG... going to get in trouble... Turtle Porn!! haha

I was already corrected Clint and told that it was a Male so it couldn't be laying eggs! Duh! What do I know... I'm from Massachusetts - our Sea Turtles are quite a different species here on Cape Cod - Diamondback Terrapins!
