Last couple from the last day in Maine... went to the West Quoddy Head Lighthouse before we headed home. Beautiful view of Canada's Grand Manan Island off in the distance in the second picture.

Back to Cape Cod for two nights... Nickerson State Park Campground. Quiet, no hookups, clean, beautiful park!

Sunny = home after three days at the hospital. Had surgery after a severe illness - found he had a peach pit lodged in his belly. He's 100% better than he looked just the other day. Smiling and back home with his people and fellow pet buds.

My wife was out for a walk at the campground and spotted these strange vines. Asked me to ealk down and shoot a picture because they were so odd - she was right. They look like they were tied up by an old fisherman, wouldn't you say bosshogg?
EDIT: 6/28/18 - Turns out, it's an invasive vine called Bittersweet that's all over Cape Cod and it starts out pretty innocent looking and ends up looking like my first and second pictures, just choking (there's an 8" pine tree inside there) large trees to death!
