Thanks, that's me bro. For what would you like to use them if you don't mind me asking.
Pretty sure you could take good pictures with one of those old school candy bar Nokias... And they didn't even have cameras so that should tell you how highly I think of your photography skills. Miss you around here, enjoy your note 9!So, now on the N9.
The 9 only really differs from the 8's camera in very low light. The wider aperture is great at sucking the light in.
The auto scene detection is good when it works, but I find myself switching to Pro mode instead.
The auto focus works better than the 8
For about 75pc of my shooting both will return very similar shots. But it's that small percentage that makes the difference.
On a whole the camera in the 9 is just better. But the eejit behind the lens is still the same unfortunately.
Picture for attention, taken at sunset last night, my house just of shot to the left. Sea with the tide out to the right.. Shot into the sun on Pro mode, wedged onto a bench.View attachment 289799

Hope everything's O.K. with the transplant? Tiffany is doing GREAT! Both the kidney and the pancreas took perfectly... she had a short period where she had an issue with one of her labs showing a bit "off', but they finally leveled out and she's doing great! She'll be one year coming up here on October 21st I think! Thanks mate, very much appreciated.
Not had much time to take pictures with my 9 recently, been back and forward to the hospital doing transplant stuff. Kids don't like me taking hospital pics...
Out this evening trying magnet fishing with the kids. One of the few places I have not taken a picture with my 8. ( Walked along this beach a thousand times though )
9 knocked it out the park though.
Manual mode, Joby Gorilla pod tripod.

Thanks Jim. Really glad to hear Tiffany is doing well, great stuff. Please pass on my regards from over the pond. Long may it continue. My transplant is doing very very well. At 18 months out now and the only real issues are the drug side effects.Hope everything's O.K. with the transplant? Tiffany is doing GREAT! Great to hear... I'll let her know you said hello and pass on the good wishes! Thank you! Keep the photos coming... I have to stick with my Note 8 until I get two major repairs done to the house, unfortunately! One of them, long, long overdue and the other just peace of mind for the power outages we've experienced over these past three winters (a natural gas, whole-house backup generator) - getting too old to be cold and damp and waiting on the electric company for repairs! Thanks Jim. Still out doing my 5k every evening which gives me some opportunities to take some shots with the Note.
In my bridge picture above you can just make out a little hill to the right. It's called North Berwick Law and today we all climbed it. ( My sister's house sits right at the bottom of it )Thanks mate, very much appreciated.
