Share with choices - too many, can change order?

Short of rooting the Nexus, is there any way so that when you select "share" from stuff like news apps and pictures, you don't get all those ridiculous apps listed? I mean, to find Facebook it's practically on the third page of options sometimes. Is there any way to remove things like NFC and so on, which I would never use to share a URL or picture?
