My thought on Google+, I wish I could get in. I got my invite five days ago and no matter how many times I try, weather I try from my PC's browser, my phone's browser of the Google+ app, I can't log in. I just get the "exceeded our capacity" message. I wish Google hadn't closed the backdoor invite method, because this is really getting frustrating.

Are you talking about through the mobile app?

I got in last night, and so far it it okay granted I've only got like 4 people on there so far so not really seeing the hype just yet.

If you just take a picture and don't do anything with it, it only instantly uploads to a private album in Picasa. So you can just click click click click click away with pictures and nobody will see them unless you go back afterwards and post them publicly or in your circles, etc.

Or, if you want to post a picture right away to be shared, just take the pic, hit OK, then the little arrow near the top right that will bring up visibility options, then select which one(s) and post.

I'm afraid that by the time Google+ is opened to everyone, all of the hoopla will have died down, and everyone will move on to the next big thing.

Ever since the mobile app update I don't seem to be getting notifications. Something is wrong with the auto-sync because the only way for them to update is for me to either reinstall the application, or remove Google+ from my Google Account sync list in setting and re-add it.

I am: SparksGuy, a faith full Droid Incredible user, podcast listener, and writer of html4 (the hard way on notepad). I also solder SMD?s professionally but don?t tell Jerry.

In the recent podcast about Google+, someone made an error :-[ about Facebook. You CAN download your Facebook data, well, most of it. On a PC, log in, go to Account, Account Settings, Download Your Information, learn more, Download. You get a zipped file of lots of YOUR goodies.

I am NOT a Facebook fanboy, and can't wait to get in the circles.

BTW, I really L~O~V~E :-* the podcast. Please keep it going.

I'm also not receiving notifications at all. What phone are you guys on?

I haven't had any issues with notifications (haven't had any in a day or two, so if its that recent I wouldn't know). Double check your notification settings and make sure phone is enabled. I've heard that you can disable sync on the phone and it will still work (it'll be BB-style push notifications). Just did this, so I'm not sure if it works, but its supposed to improve battery life.

Droid Life said on Twitter that some people are getting in on their own, so its worth a try.
