I'm also not receiving notifications at all. What phone are you guys on?
Nexus S 4G

I haven't had any issues with notifications (haven't had any in a day or two, so if its that recent I wouldn't know). Double check your notification settings and make sure phone is enabled. I've heard that you can disable sync on the phone and it will still work (it'll be BB-style push notifications). Just did this, so I'm not sure if it works, but its supposed to improve battery life.

Droid Life said on Twitter that some people are getting in on their own, so its worth a try.
I've had them setup as push notifications since the beginning. I haven't done anything to the phone since I last posted but they're working correctly again.

I just now FINALLY got in six days after getting my invite. I tries signing in with the mobile app on a whim and to my amazement it actually worked. :D

I don't have a Facebook account(surprising huh) but, I think I would definitely give Google+ a try. I LOVE Google and will try anything it develops. Everything is always user friendly.

Id have to say google+ is awesome. I would switch right now if everyone would be on board. I see it happening fairly fast seeing that its Google pushing a social network not fb. Which I think has no money compared to Google. Google ftw always everytime
Love it

It is awesome but it will only be great when people I usually communicate online with join in. So far the number is very low, even after I sent invites the response from my peeps have been lukewarm at best. So maybe six months down the line, it will be a great networking tool.

Agreed. It has great potential but for us using it in it's infancy, it feels a bit lonely. My more techie friends are interested in it but other than that, family and other friends don't even know what it is or why they should use it over FB. Google definitely has their work cut out for them. But this feels different than a lot of google products that they just throw out there to test, they seem to be jumping in with both feet in order to make this successful. I have a feeling it is going to get quite interesting in the near future to see what both Google and FB do and come out with.

I think it's great! I enjoyed the interface, the theme is incredibly beautiful and the whole system just... you can just tell Google went all out with privacy, the whole Circles idea is just the best way to keep your boss from finding out your personal things(parties, family matters, friend meetings, etc.). While I did fall in love with it there are some things I wished they fixed. Chat. That is the biggest flaw in my opinion, there is no chatting system, I read Phil's Google+ app walkthrough and it made sense, they will eventually integrate Huddle with Google Talk and implement it in the web interface. I also agree the whole idea that the things most newly commented on or +1'd are on the top, but really it's annoying. Facebook has the right idea with the News Feed, and I hope Google follows with the same idea.

Other then that, I find Google+ to be amazing, if it had a web chat system then I could really enjoy it a lot more, as a lot of people I know don't really use G talk. I haven't tried Hangouts because I just joined literally 3 hours ago, but it detected the web cam on my CR-48, so that is promising.

If you want to add me to your Circle or vice versa, just hit me up, I have my G+ profile linked to my AC account(as you should all do, thanks forums).

I just got in this morning. I love it already. I think the ability to CHOOSE who you share what with is the biggest appeal, and the biggest reason to dump FB, for me at least. I don't post on FB as often as I would like simply because I don't want to share everything with the world. Google+ can only get better as more people use it. Use those invites, people! :)

Well I just got my invite today and started using it within the last hour, I have to say I love it so far.

It is still in Beta and there is already a lot included, I could just imagine what the many more months, and YEARS ahead have to offer to this project. It could defenitely take down myspace/facebook in a instant with enough work and a good user base.

One of the coolest features I've come across is the Circles; Of the added friends that you have you can make your own 'Circles' and add them to it, this allows you to share pictures/videos/updates with only certain circles of people. There is also a Huddle section which I didn't go over yet but from the looks of it it is suppose to be a easy way to start group conversations with certain people and circles.

The mobile app has instant uploads, which you can disable, but allows all the photos and videos on your phone to instantly be uploaded to your Google+ profile. This could be a security issue for some but all of the media gets added to a private area, which you can then look on your phone or on a computer and make some of those pictures or videos public to either everyone, extended circles, or certain circles of your choosing.

I also noticed there was a section under the status updates that allows you to see updates of people that live around you! This is a great idea and can help anyone new start to add friends!

I only hit the tip of the iceberg but it is a great project and I hope Google continues this!

Funny thing is... not one of my FB friends are on G+ yet, but I have slowly amassed a decent sized group of new contacts that are cool to socialize with.

Yeah that's what I'm looking for. I offered friends on Facebook invites if I even have any but no one seems to be interested. I personally think its already up to facebook already.

Exactly. I'm open to it so its a lot more fun for me but a lot of my Facebook friends are still stuck on the bandwagon and think that Facebook is the best thing out there. Just gonna take some convincing I guess.

Personally the Circles and Huddle features alone make Google+ vastly superior to Facebook. IMHO of course. I just got fed up with having multiple social networks and or accts just to keep my gaming, personal and business lives separate.

Google+ Rules

I like it right now only because there isn't a lot of people on there and no stupid status like "bed" or "shower" or "bored" or blahblahblah.

But the circles is great and ability to automatically upload photos from your phone is great.
