I almost went slate and blue. But the I decided red would stand out more and the blue might get lost. I should be picking it up today. I'll post a picture.

Your slate looks a lot bluer than the image on the Motomaker website. Is that the case in real life, or just these pictures?

Its not the pictures. Its has blue in it. I thought I was gonna be a medium gray color.

That's classy. I really like the blue accents. You're correct. Sometimes the slate has blue in it. Others its just a medium gray. But I really like the slate.

If you mean soft touch as in soft non slip. Sorry its not soft touch. Slate is a smooth finish. But I think it has grip.

Its more of a smooth touch. Royal had a really great soft/ smooth touch to it, but this feels just like my chalk did. Very slippery if you have dry hands but still feels great.

What case is that? I know on Motorola's site they have one that is self healing. Wasn't sure if it was this one, seeing if it really held up against scratches

I have the self-healing case. The one pictured is not the case that is self healing. It holds up pretty decently. Overall, though, I don't like cases, so I'm not using it now.
