When you use HDR+, do you have to hold your hand really steady despite of having OIS?

I mean I read that it snaps multiple images at different exposure, so it can't snap moving objects like a running dog or jumping kid

I have Nexus 4, and the HDR is dissapointing
Well the camera is

The Nexus 5 camera is significantly better than the Nexus 4.

HDR is not meant for moving objects. On any phone. It's meant for still scenes or people posing or whatever. Normal mode can capture moving stuff reasonably well. But the Nexus 5 does not have a great shutter speed. It is decent but not great.

Can anyone enlighten me about the file sizes of photos and videos coming from the Nexus 5?
How much space does a full resolution picture and e.g. a 10 sec / 1 min video clip take up?

Thanks

Since Nexus 5 image files are stored as compressed jpg's, they will vary in size depending on image complexity. Glancing through my images I'm seeing from 1.6 Mb to 5.2 MB.

Thanks, great help.

What about video files, anyone? (they would of course vary in size as well depending on the scene captured)

No, my lady is all grown up. The one in the photo is 11. She was at our studio for a session. When we finished, I wanted to see what I could do with my N5.

Oh...oops. I thought she was 19 or 20

Cookbooks, low light, HDR
I'm blown away with what this camera can do.

Here's one of mine (St. Louis Basilica dome), HDR+ on.

Wow. Would love to see more of the art in there if you get a chance. :-)
