Took these in a friend's backyard today. They have been cropped but are otherwise unaltered. No HDR (the insects were moving way too fast to use HDR).

That's one of the best pics I've ever seen I think from a phone..
Thank you for the compliment!!! This phone really does take some good pictures with the right conditions. Then you have all the photo apps to help out with the rest.

60s 2wd suburban in my neighborhood. Sharp looking truck.

The device manages to take some pretty spectacular macros, the detail and color really amazed me.

This photo was taken at EV Exposure +2, the huge amount of grain was to be expected but in such lowlight situations I was impressed with the amount of light the sensor managed to capture.

It actually does well in low light, as long as the light sources are faint. Streetlights are really bright in really dark areas. So it is harder for the camera to resolve it.

I took these last month. The lamps are electric candles and REALLY faint.

Unaltered except for cropping. I think I did use HDR.

The light sensitivity really isn't any better. What is better is the noise...OIS results in a much smoother image even with crappy light.

Some of the newer cameras use software OIS to mimic this, but IMO, it's just not as good.
