That's not the purpose of motion photo. That's basically to make an animated GIF
Still photos are amazing on this however when I'm taking pictures of anything moving even outdoors the autofocus issue becomes ugly.
The 2 preloaded live wallpapers only have an option for the lock screen. I don't have any 3rd party ones installed to try.Question does live wallpaper work on the s20 home screen?
Same way on my Note 10+The 2 preloaded live wallpapers only have an option for the lock screen. I don't have any 3rd party ones installed to try.

You can do that as well.I never realized that.... I use it to pick the best frame out of the motion photo & save it. At a recent family reunion someone invariably blinked at the wrong time. Motion photo allowed me to choose the shot with the least closed pairs of eyes. Which is great because I wouldn`t have the need to make animated gifs.
Nice to know, however.

Nope. There's still some MAJOR skin smoothing, even with auto cam turned off. Samsung seems to think we all want to look like china dolls.
Turn off Bixby Screen Optimizer in the camera settings. It's on by default. Doesn't completely fix the issue, but it helps until there is a fix.
From my "just regular" s20. Night shot. Room was almost pitch black, and this picture turned out MUCH better than the same shot taken previously with my s10 using night shot (or the Gcam app). Very impressed with the camera so far overall. PS: there is a nightlight or some power brick in that room that does have a blue light on it, so the blue areas you see are actually accurate if ramped up a bit.
