Shattered note9 screen

Knew it was going to happen eventually lol. I work at a animal shelter and the weather was nice so we had the dogs outside and was playing frisbee. I had my note9 in my scrub top pocket. I jumped up to catch frisbee and phone came out of pocket and landed face down on concrete then bounced and landed on back. I about died lol. And so did my coworkers. Didn't have screen protector on. One I ordered are supposed to be here Thursday. Well have to pay $199 deductible thru asurion since I'm on Verizon tomorrow for supposed next day replacement. Rest of phone is fine since the case protected the rest. First time I've shattered a screen. Here are some pics. Sorry pics are sideways.

Yeah I'm not having much luck lately with the note9 lol. This is my replacement note9 from when my original note9 had some weird burn in or screen issue. Yeah. I could pay $29 for someone to come to my house and fix screen but next available date is April 10 or I can still pay $29 to go to them and have it fix at that ubreakifix place in a state over from me. But I think I'm just going to pay the $199 deductible for another phone.

That's all mine cost and my daughters note 8.
29 bucks each for Assurion screen replacements.
Done right in the store.

I have Sprint but it shouldn't make a difference.
Then again Asurion is also in the back of the Sprint corporate store.

Done right in the store.

Yeah I posted $29 for screen fix in another post. Maybe it didn't come out right. I'm just choosing to do the $199 deductible to replace phone. I wish asurion was closer to me lol. I mean they said I can go to ubreakifix but I was having other issues with my note9 anyway so I'll just replace whole phone

Lol thanks. Probably cause we a note family and when one hurts everyone hurts lol. I bout had a heart attack. My coworkers said I look like I saw a ghost and was ready to pass out lol

i feel for ya, and the 199.99 isn't cheap, I'm on Verizon also and hope i don't have to use it anytime soon!

I hope you don't have to use it either. Yeah I've always thought I was lucky I never cracked or shattered a phone screen and then bam it happened lol. I'm going to baby my replacement lol. I have dropped my old note 5 once and the screen probably would have been shattered but the glass screen protector took all the damage leaving my note 5 without a scratch.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. I don't use a screen protector right now cos all the ones I can find here in Nigeria just won't stay on with my case, they always fall off after a few days. I couldn't imagine the heart-in-mouth moment when that phone fell . Hugs
