Shattered screen display

My girlfriend dropped my phone today and shattered the screen. It looked fine for a while, just had a hairline crack, but now the whole display has bled out black. If I put some pressure on it then the colors change a little but nothing is readable. What are my options? I have no insurance. I want to just replace the screen myself, but I don't know what parts I need.

Does anybody have a good place to buy the screen? There is a link in the video, but it's $250. Is that the cheapest they can be found?
