Shipping notification....Who's first?

So, if any of the latest news does affect everyone, when will Sprint begin to issue refunds..since they were so quick to take the money. Unless they knew this from the beginnings as most preorders, the money doesn't come out until the product has shipped...

Anybody else notice this at the top of this page in the red banner: BREAKING: Apple's patent dispute blocks HTC Android phones at the U.S. border.

The link is dead, but I'm guessing it's a place holder.

The link isn't dead, it's just not formatted correctly, the forums address is in the front of the article address, delete the forums address in the link and it should work.

Although it is easy to blame apple the real villain is the patent office for allowing the patent in the first place.

What is strange is if the HTC One S has the same 4.0 on it then why did Apple not stop that phone as well?

If Sprint is forced to delay the product release past this Friday, I cannot see how they can legally, and in good conscience, fail to allow order cancellations.

As of right now, I suspect that both Sprint and HTC are looking at a public relations disaster of crippling proportions.

Would be nice to hear of an official announcement from Sprint or HTC tomorrow.

HTC's website isn't showing anything new reflecting this news, and Sprint's site isn't showing anything either, but it still has the preorder link up.

Man, everything just seems wrong. HTC as a company just been doing horrible in sales and revenue lately. The EVO LTE is about to come out, but the LTE network isn't ready. Preorders take place where the funds are taken out immediately. This patent dispute throws up a potential embargo. What else can go wrong?

HTC Official Statement:

?The US availability of the HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE has been delayed due to a standard U.S. Customs review of shipments that is required after an ITC exclusion order. We believe we are in compliance with the ruling and HTC is working closely with Customs to secure approval. The HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE have been received enthusiastically by customers and we appreciate their patience as we work to get these products into their hands as soon as possible.?

Im still trying to figure out if the people who posted there "tracking information" were telling the truth or just trolling....

Hey guys I don't mean to be mean. But my brother is a district manager here in Colorado for sprint. He says most stores have received there inventory. He also said cooperate stores get first priority and online orders are second. Secondly if your waiting for a tracking... keep waiting. He says there almost 30000 orders for this phone alone. Not including 3rd party vendors.... Last but not least he says you should be getting your orders the day before release if not the day of.... Thanks guys.....
