Shipping notification....Who's first?

I've never had a phone ship anything other than next day air saver. Maybe its my location though?

Why would you say the 3rd party would receive the phones first?

As much as I would hope (for personal reasons) that they would ship phones that had already been paid for, the reality of the situation is that they have our money in hand and are saying we'll still get ours first. So, as long as they try to keep that promise, we can't really complain too much. From their point of view, and all of this is just speculation in an attempt to provide a plausible answer, they have lost almost a week of revenue. They being both Sprint and HTC. From a purely business perspective, I can see how getting your product into the hands of the folks who can sell them would trump getting them to the people whose money is already banked. Particularly since they can do so and still keep their promise.

Now, there is no reason to believe that they are shipping to stores first, but if they are doing so, that is my guess as to why.

Just think about it. They probably want a homogeneous product launch and that requires them to deliver the phones to places like target and bestbuy so they can prepare to ship to their stores.

I think third party retailers get their shipments from HTC

A Sprint rep told me they will ship out the phones on the 24th. But of course each rep seems to know something different so I wont hold this one to their word.

Just seen radio shack has the htc evo 4g lte posters up but no release date. Isn said we would have morning news, what gives?

I have signed up recently for My UPS and it should let me know that something is coming my way but only the day before it will be delivered. However, I have not received UPS shipments since I signed up so I do not how well it works..

It works well... I got an email on Sunday for a Monday delivery.
