Shipping notification....Who's first?

Never assume.

I just can't see Sprint keeping the preorder links live and not giving anyone a hint as to what is going on. They should be one of the first to know if there is an issue. Why ignore it? It's Tuesday. If they ignore the problem and then make an announcement on Friday saying that it is delayed a couple of weeks, that's going to be a bigger problem. I can only "assume" they aren't that stupid. It's the only way I am not freaking out about this craziness drama.

This is what I get for leaving the forum for a few hours...Stupid Border Patrol or whatever they are...Don't they have illegal immigrants to worry about. Haha

***I was joking so relax those who have no sense of humor***

Still sucks though.

***Please excuse any and all typos as my large thumbs cannot fit the keyboard correctly***

Jessica promised 11PM would be the time to hear something. It's 11:01 PM EST. I want an iPhone now. Apple wins.

Seriously, what are they trying to prove blocking shipment? It's not like we are camping out. We have made a commitment to buy something, and most of us have already paid. If they really wanted to prevent sales they should have blocked the release of the ATT One X.

11PM CST dude.... you've got another hour, Sprint is in Kansas

I agree -- if you look at Sprint, the main page doesn't list the pre-order anymore. When I first saw that I said "oh-oh, this is the first step in their admitting a problem". But if you click on the "More Info" like the pre-order site is still live.

Since this has become public, I think Sprint could get into some trouble if they continued to accept pre-orders for a phone that supposedly is "indefinitely delayed".

Sprint must have enough on hand to satisfy all existing pre-orders, some future pre-orders, and May 18th launch stores.

But Kentucky, where they are supposedly shipping from, is in EST, so it is after 11PM there.

It's also after 11pm here in NC, doesn't matter.....

Sprint reps have been saying since this morning that shipping begins at 11:01PM CST specifically.

Cruise on over to the official Sprint forums where Sprint reps speak freely and often.

This is strange...on Sprint's site, I believe the language in the EVO LTE pre-order has changed....

"Hurry - supplies are limited."

Is this new?

However, for the last several hours, not a peep.

I'm being told by Jessica right now that orders are indefinitely delayed...and I ordered 5 minutes after 9 AM on 5/7/12 SMH

That &*%$( just told me the same thing.

Jessica: The U.S. availability of the HTC EVO 4G LTE has been delayed. HTC is working to resolve this issue and appreciates your patience as they work to get products into Sprint channels.
You: WHAT?
Jessica: The arrival of your HTC EVO 4G LTE will be delayed until HTC is able to resolve this issue.
Jessica: HTC is working with U.S. Customs for a speedy resolution and your pre-order fee still holds the device.
Jessica: We will provide a shipping date as soon as possible.
You: this is bs. 3 days before the launch, you drop this on us the customer
Jessica: This is a customs issue.
You: its due to release friday
Jessica: We can?t provide specific timing for product availability at this time and we appreciate your patience as HTC works to get products on store shelves as soon as possible. Please check the HTC EVO LTE microsite (HTC EVO 4G LTE is now available for pre-order) for the new launch date.
Jessica: Correct. The original release date was Friday, May 18th 2012.
You: i'm so done with sprint
Jessica: However, a customs issue has delayed the official release date.
You: exactly and why wait so long to get the phones through customs
You: Get ready for the thousands of cancellations.
