Just a bit of advice: If you aren't OCD-level-careful with your devices PLEASE GET SOME FORM OF PROTECTION. Be it screen protectors, a bumper or another form of case. :thumbup:

It comes with directions. They send you a whole new device from what I'm told (Google doesn't do refurbs) I'd guess the whole shebang as they're sending you a whole new retail boxed unit.

I'm you guys/gals are finally getting your emails. You won't be disappointed in this phone. I'm finding out that it works as a phone very well, the phone calls are as crisp and clear as any phone I've had.
 
I seriously doubt that they are going to be worried about Joe's who haven't made orders quite yet... Google has a responsibility to those who have already made orders and who have been backordered.
I called Google a couple of hours ago, before receiving this email, and the girl said that incoming stock was going to go to clear backorders first. It seems like a "Well, DUH!" sort of thing, but given the general botch Google has made of this process, it almost wouldn't surprise me if they started taking more orders before clearing the backlog.

Well I know they will clear the backorders first. What I'm saying is, I think they will have enough to start ordering again. All I'm saying is I don't think they got just enough for backorders and then they will order more so we can start ordering again.

Google just showed up on my credit card too after receiving the email!! Hopefully we will have the phone in hand by Wednesday!

I wonder if it's a coincidence that daily steals put it on sale the same day everyone started getting the email? I mean they may have it in stock or they may charge you, buy it, then ship it. I wonder if they know something we don't? Hmmm....
