I pre-ordered from Best Buy - first time from them. I usually buy direct from Google but trade in was far better with Best Buy. If you've worked with them before, please let me know how trade in works. Do I have to turn in my trade-in phone immediately when I pick up the new phone? If so, then I guess I transfer all my data and set up the new phone while I'm at the store and then do a factory reset before I hand them my trade in? Or do I have a period of time in which I can take the new phone home and get it up and running and decide if I want to keep it before I have to give them my trade in? Thanks in advance for any info you can share.

When ordering on BB...if you choose a trade in and choose to pick up in store. They will require you to turn in the trade in when you pick up the phone.
If you choose shipping then you get like 10 days to send in your trade in.

I'm also doing a pick up from BB for my 9ProXL and they are instructing me to bring my trade in device in when I pick up my order so they can evaluate and give me the credit.

They will do that just ask you want to set up your new phone have it copy over and then you can reset it and use it for the trade-in

My cancel button is gone now yay! But still says delivery on the 22nd. I don't see any shipping label created for UPS or FedEx yet. Ordered the P9P XL through Verizon

I went with BB this time around since FedEx and UPS have been delivering packages to wrong address or stealing them lately. I live in a rural area so I didn't want to chance it this time around. I used BB way back in the day but they messed up one time with the pixel preorder so I started using Google Store. Let's hope this time it goes smoothly since I'm driving an hour away.

Got my shipping notice for 9 XL 512GB. No actual date yet. Carrier hasn't received package.

I'm guessing and hoping it'll make it by Thursday, 22nd.
