Should have waited another day. A friend of mine did the same thing,, I told them the same thing and they did not listen. After one day in rice they turned it on, it worked all day and then it went nuts.

Same thing happened to my 8 month old HTC evo 4g LTE. I dropped it in the toilet. LOL. I immediately dried it off and put in a bag of rice. after two days i tried turning it on, but nothing. Then i tried charging the charging light didnt come on. When i got home. I put in a big container of rice. It was probably in there for a good 4 days. I took it out once again to try and turn it on, but nothing. I was pretty pessimistic about the outcome of my phone. I thought all was lost and that i would have to go back to previous crappy phone. I finally took it sprint because i have TEP and i got it serviced. I played dumb and told the guy that i didnt know what happened. he then went in the back and cracked it open, after that he came back out saying that there was a little moisture between the screen and device connectors ( thats why my screen wouldn't turn on) he took some alcohol and cleaned it up. He then gave me back me phone and it was brought back to life. I am so happy to be reunited with my phone. Hope my story helps some people!!
