Shortcut to Market no longer works

Yea...I had a theory that interrupted connections may have caused problems that's what happened to me.

I never used that shortcut anyway. I'm sure it will be fixed in short order, though.

Well like I said this happened to me. It doesn't seem to affect everyone but if it does here's how I fixed it.

Remember, this is only if your white market icon that appears in the upper right of the app drawer doesn't work. Just go to the "manage apps" tab under settings and uninstall updates to "google play store", then whenever you need to go to the market just make sure you use the white icon in the app drawer. Eventually you'll be prompted to accept the agreement again. Keep using that icon to access the market, then a little later it'll ask you again if you want to contine to the "play store" just click continue and accept the terms again and your app drawer link will work again.

There may be a straight up fix, but this was simple enough and doesnt affect you other than one extra click.

Ya... just saw this on DroidLife... just had to open the Google Play... again the icon disappeared.... the new one says "Play Store"... but the built in icon now works... good to see Google doing something so quickly without an OTA full ROM change.

And funny enough, when I long press the home button and the recent apps pop up, the old Market icon is there.

No new icon for me yet. The playstore is there when I press my old market icon.

Market app became dead on my go launcher ex when it did this update.... did a simple restart on go launcher in its preferences. Works now.

Works for me but the Market still doesn't show my installed apps. It just shows a white screen saying that this is where my apps will appear. I've got over 100 apps already. It's been like this ever since I got my Razr Maxx.

Any ideas/solutions?

Also, on a PC, the My Apps alphabetical list stops in the R's. I wonder if there's a maximum number of pages it can show. Still sux!
