Setting up my new phone (switched from the Pre). All my shortcuts disappeared, including the Applications one. Furthermore, I can't slide right to left two screens over. Instead, I can scroll up or down one long page and see all my apps.

Anybody know how I get the right-left scroll back? And my shortcuts?

Thanks for the help!

Are you using a custom home launcher like ADW or LauncherPro? Try doing a swiping gesture up and down or left and right. If that doesn't work hit menu and go into settings to adjust things.

I'm not using a custom home launcher. I've checked settings and can't find a setting to fix this.

Go to your applications and hit the menu button on the bottom left and change the view to grid view. That will change how all your apps screen is laid out.

Musclehead84 - I am in applications and am unable to click on the menu button (you mean the button just to the left of the home button, right?). The button is there but nothing happens when I clickk on it.

Within applications, I have the usual list:
Unknown sources
quick launch
manage applications
running services
Development

Am I at the right place?

This is really baffling me.

From the applications menu your in select "manage applications", then press menu button {next to home}, then select "filter" then select "running". Look for the "launcher your running, I take it you want the Touchwiz launcher, look for the "Home" launcher. When you find it select it then select "clear defaults". Now when you press the "home" button it should give you an option of which launcher to use, select TWLauncher, and click to use as default if you want also. Not 100% if yours has the"Home" launcher but if not look for another launcher to clear default. I had the same issue a while back too, and I was using Home as the launcher.
