Shortcuts on lockscreen

Does anyone know how to get rid of the shortcuts on the lockscreen? (I don't know if everyone by default has Chrome and Camera) I went to settings, lockscreen and turned off the slider right on the main screen, that didn't work. Then selected it there and turned off the slider each for Chrome and Camera. Disappears for a few min and then , comes back again. I googled to see if it was a glitch but didn't find anything. Thanks.

Mine is working. I just turned off Shortcuts in the Lock screen menu.

Did you restart your phone to see if still gone?

Yeah, I turned that off when I got the phone, and they've been off ever since.
