Alright so now that most have their galaxy s3 I need to know what to do by 4 pm. I have the RAZR Maxx. Its a good phone kinda slow at times and choppy but other than that good. I just picked it up yesterday because I thought it was gonna be a while until the s3 dropped after all the delays. Well no idk what to do. Should I take it back and get the s3 or hang onto it. I want it to get good service and be future proof. Thanks in advance for the answers.

GS3>>>Razr Maxx. Not even in the same league. But I also hate Motorola phones.

I am also not a fan of motorola! I had the droid x which was a great phone but I preferred my broken screen HTC rezound and so far the GS3 over moto! My BIL has the Bionic and it didn't interest me at all!
Of course these phones are all in different leagues but yeah lol

Dude, you created 2 threads basically screaming.....I have a moto and want an S3!!! Just do it!!!!

I bought a Razr Maxx a few months ago. Really nice phone but I wasn't excited with the screen on it. I used the S III for over a week now and it's a nice phone. Given a choice between those two phones, the S III wins hands down. Nicer screen, fluid movement, more features and better hardware. I know Moto has a better rep for their radios but I don't think you'll find much difference unless you are in super marginal areas, and maybe not even there. The radios in the S III worked well for me and I am in a marginal area.

Thanks everyone for the input I'm gonna stick with the power of DROID for now the battery life and build quality are what got me. Pluse I have 30 days since I bought it from Verizon so I nay be able to sneak in the DROID RAZR HD which would be awesome. Thanks everyone for the help you all were great.

GET THE S3! :) Seriously though, like the one person said a few posts up "its not even in the same league". They're right. I've had mine now for a few hours and it's smoking fast, has an awesome screen, (even a little better than my Nexus IMO). So if I notice a slight improvement over my Nexus, I'm sure its leaps and bounds better than the MAXX, especially the screen. I can't comment on battery life yet but I'm thinking that would be the only downgrade coming from the MAXX, everything else is an upgrade. Just my humble opinion. :)

Okay, I have owned the Galaxy S3 for a few days now and a Droid Razr for about a month. I think you made a good choice keeping the Maxx since battery life and build quality matter to you. But those are the only things that the Maxx has over the S3. I'm very impressed with the S3, so I'm definitely not exchanging mine. It has a very nice screen, doesn't feel cheap, and has about as good of reception as my Razr did for me. You will be happy with either phone. Enjoy!
