For sale is an extremely rare F(x)tec Pro 1 smartphone. This is the only modern Android slider phone, the only other one being the BlackBerry Priv from 2015 that unfortunately cannot run anything newer than Android 6, with an October 2017 security update.
This phone is currently on Android 9 running April 2020 security update but can have custom OS loaded onto it, which I haven't personally tried and I don't know how to do, and I don't need anything other than Android anyway. It runs on the Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM.
The device is factory unlocked, has 128GB storage with MicroSD card support, and it also supports dual SIM but no MicroSD if you use two SIMs.
It should work on T-Mobile, Mint and other MVNO's (I tested call, text and data on T-Mobile) but it won't work on Sprint, AT&T (due to new strict BYOD device regulations) and I'm not sure about Verizon, but consider that it wouldn't work unless proven otherwise.
I've barely used this phone for a few days but realized that the landscape keyboard layout just isn't for me. I prefer portrait orientation. I had received the phone with a cracked display and ordered a spare OLED panel and replaced it and it works fine, just that there's a slight gap at the top and bottom of the phone where the glass slightly protrudes out. This is likely because the spare screen did not come with adhesive tape for the edges but the whole middle is adhesive so the screen is not gonna just detach on its own. I will try to add some adhesive double sided tape to the edges though. Anyway, spare screens can be found on AliExpress for about $75, just search "QX1000".
I haven't really tested battery health but the previous owner reportedly didn't use the phone much at all. The battery is 3100mAh.
There is an underrated feature of this phone which is the notification LED, and it can be customized with the Light Flow Legacy app so you can choose which apps light up in what colors.
I loaded a few BlackBerry things (launcher, wallpaper, icon pack, ringtones etc) and the above Light Flow app. You can of course factory reset the phone upon receiving and set it up again as new.
