Should I dump the Note 9 for the S10 plus?

No, unless selfies are a big thing for you. The display has the hole, very curved corners and the curved edges. The Note 9 only has one of those display content unfriendly features.

Just say No to the hole.

A lot of people on the s10 forum are complaining about the finger print scanner not working that well.

Yeah there is a lot more negative comments than I would like but I'm hoping that mine will function the way it's supposed to.

A lot of people complained about the iris scanner on the Note 8 as well and it is probably the same problem,..... People NOT taking their time to set it up properly, the finger print scanner has gone through a hell of a lot of development and testing and I seriously doubt that Samsung would have put a half baked piece of tech into such an important phone for them as the S10 are

I agree, it works just as good as my note 9 fingerprint

I agree. I haven't had issues yet. Mine is working just fine on my S10 plus. While it is possible some may have a defective device as all tech is capable of failing. I think most people lack patience.

I'll be waiting on the Note 10 and if it's not a massive upgrade over my Note 9 then I'll keep it and pay the 2nd year off using the Samsung upgrade program.

To me it's a no brainer to buy through the upgrade program as it works out to around £32 per month for the phone and £5 per month for my Sim, a contract through a carrier for me would be in excess of £60 per month on a new Note!

My only ever S line was the S2 and since the Note 2 came out, I was hooked.
I love reading the forums and looking how excited people are getting when the phone is near release but once a year is enough for me, if not longer, so I say have fun with your S10 phones, not tempted!

The only reason why I really dont want to go back to the S series from the note is because the note screen is wider in the hand. It makes me feel like I have a better grip on it.

Snap. Can't understand why people would go through the carriers.
I pay a bit more as I need / use a decent sim, but the carriers charge a crazy premium.
( BTW just got the daughter the 8GB for £7.50 sky sim, great deal. Unfortunately she will only use an iPhone, but that's another story. )

This is my first Note and I got the Note 9 512 with 8 gigs unlocked from Samsung. I always have been a Nexus/ Pixel guy since the Nexus One all they way through and sold my Pixel 3 for.the Note 9.

The Note showed me what hardware can do and I love Samsung Pay!!!! Not sure if I can go back to the next Pixel or go with the next Note.

Dont think I would dump the Note 9 for anything. However I wll add the S10E to my stash......Flat Screen!YES

I'll always be a Note user. And the S series phone user. There are uses for the Note 9 that I can do on my S10+ but the pen just makes them easier.

I had the Note 4, Note Edge, Note 5, Note 8, Note 9, S7 Edge, S8+, S9+ and now the S10+.

You'd think Samsung would send out some sort of reward, shares of stock or something for this sort of loyalty. :) I have only had the S3, S8+ & currently Note 9. To be honest, kinda hopin' the Note 10 is not a game changing sort of device & the N9 can have a nice long life here. ;)
