Should I get a Z3?

The camera maybe high megapixels however the Note 4 with lesser megapixels has way better quality, even the S5 and iPhone 6 do.

I've had no issues with the camera other than my own folly, usually moving too quickly before the picture gets taken in dark situations.

The camera seems to be a hit and miss on the Z3. Some people seem to love it, others seem to have issues. Not sure what that is all about.

Hopefully they resolve any other issues with 5.01.

In my opinion the differences between z1, z2 and z3, are so small, that it doesnt pay.

Several things are important to me when getting a phone. Battery life, weight, feeling and camera. To me the Z3 ticks all the boxes. I tried the other Xperia models before and never liked them. The Z3 has a nice feeling when you hold it. I really like the styling and the weight and battery are great. I also like the camera.

I'd check with Sony on what's going on with the signal but yes, you would be correct in saying that it is the weak signal that would usually cause issues like this. Phones have to work a lot harder when the signal is crap so the battery drains quicker.

Also have you checked to see what apps are running in the background? I've noticed some are pretty bad with wanting to access data all the time.

I have most of the Sony stuff disabled as I'd never use it. Yes I have checked background apps and for the most part, all is fine and I don't see anything rogue..

I believe my poor battery life is due to the horrendous LTE signal.. I submitted a return through Sony's web site and now have 2 weeks to either mail it back or keep it. It would be a shame to mail it back but I can't deal with the battery life and the weak LTE signal.

The camera is awesome on my device. I compared it with my Moto X (2014) and it's not even close. The Sony camera flat out demolishes it in every situation imaginable..
