Should I get the Z2 or A5?

Z2 or A5

Its 2015..need a new phone...I had a S5, but I want something cheaper now...Z2 (old phone...heard that the screen cracks while in your pocket?)..A5...new and looks good, but mid range spec, but it is new (Software)

Sony UI looks Old compared to A5

I am afraid I buy the Z2 and receive no updates from Sony in two years!

Between the two, I would go for the Z2. After owning it for close to a year now, I still enjoy the phone. I forget how great the camera is until I use a friend's note 3, g3, or s5 and then I remember. Waterproof, front facing speakers, and a lollipop update on the way will keep me with this phone until the Z4 comes out.

I have never used the Samsung, but I think this phone would be a better choice that you'll be happy with.

I would s A5 My Z2 is not a great phone,,, and don't count on it being waterproof. Seen many fail just a glass of water in under a minute. Sure camera is good and phone is fast... but to me it isn't worth buying a Z2

Can you post some of the failures? I have used my phone at countless water parks, my parent's pool, showed with it, and wash it off and never had any issues.

As I see it, it's similar to buying a new Honda Accord, or buying a year old Mercedes.

Hi Guys. Got myself the A5! It was better value for money as the Z2 is still more expensive than the S5! Thanx for the help.

Can you post some of the failures? I have used my phone at countless water parks, my parent's pool, showed with it, and wash it off and never had any issues.

As I see it, it's similar to buying a new Honda Accord, or buying a year old Mercedes.

the failure was phone died, all 3 died in store right in front of me. The sales lady put them into a glass of water and within 1 minute all 3 quit and would not turn on. The store will not sell them anymore as to many people have returned them as they quit from water and Sony will not stand behind them for warranty. So don't buy a Sony just because some people say they are waterproof. Mine was sent back and Sony rep says there was a dent in the corner and that's where water got in,,, funny the phone had a case on it before I left store,, so I am out 650.00 for a phone that lasted 2 weeks. As I said before,, buy any and I mean any other phone other than a Sony
