Do you have any opinions on it or anything because I'm trying to decide on whether I should get this phone or not.

I own it, love it and coming from an iPhone i definitely do not have to worry about my battery. and where i work there generally is no wifi

Battery IS epic..processor is snappy and apps open easily. Sou d is loud and call clarity is good. GPS lock is nearly instant for me.

Good to hear. I just bought one should be here Saturday. I'll be coming from a iPhone 5. I kept going back and forth on if I wanted to switch again. Love hearing more positive things.

Thats is so funny I also have the iphone5 the only difference is the camera.....does not take as good of pictures as the iphone....but everything else is A+++

If you love battery life get it.

It's the only battery that almost lasted a whole day

Yeah I have read all about the camera. I am not to worried about that. I made the jump for battery life. I have never rooted before but thinking I will think time and play around a little more.

Just got my Razr Maxx HD yesterday....Took it off the charger @ 6:00am this morning....right now it's 11:02pm and I have 54% left....:D;) Been playing with it/ browsing, downloading music....etc...AMAZING!!!!!

Having a Razr Maxx for over a year, if I needed a new phone I'd snap one up in a heartbeat. Gotta ask yourself, "what's a better all - around phone?" For me, factor in the outstanding battery life & it's a no-brainer. If you wait for the next big thing you'll always be waiting.

24 hours of normal use for me...still have 45% left....I'm gonna push through work while listening to tunes and see how far I can get....My Kraken case gets here today...;)

Is the camera good. Is it better than the droid razr m's camera?

Alot of people say the iPhone has a better camera, but i am finding the pics to be better with the maxx. As for the razr m i am not sure.

I have had this phone for about 3 months and I really don't have any complaints; I had an iPhone 4 prior. First things first, the battery is definitely one of the reasons to get this phone. I can unplug my phone at 6:30am when I leave for work and be on it the entire time for my 90 min commute, be on it throughout the day with fluctuating WiFi and signal as my office building is inconsistent in service, be on it my 90 min commute home and still have anywhere from 50%-60% battery when I get home around 5:30pm. I've even come home sometimes with almost 70% battery left if I used it less throughout the day. I do have Google Now running too which can be a battery drain. Just for reference, my phone is currently at 65% and it's reading 1d 1h 58m 22s on battery with on screen time of 20m 17s and I expect it to easily last until tonight when I go to bed around 11/11:30pm.

The reception will often read 4G and occasionally drop to 3G but that is pretty rare as I live in the NYC area. I will often see 1 or 2 bars of 4G but bars mean nothing on this phone as my data speed and call quality do not suffer like it did on my iPhone when the bars would read low. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen my Android drop to 1X whereas my iPhone did it on a daily basis.

The camera is definitely not as good as the iPhone 4. The auto-focus will show it's in focus and clear then it takes the shot and its dark and blurry. I definitely do not use the camera as much as I did on my iPhone, it's slower and the quality isn't as good. Once in a while, it will take a good picture and surprise me but most of the time they aren't so hot.

I've had the occasional stutter or spinning circle when I go to open my menu but that is just the nature of Android OS if you ask me. The GPS works as well as my iPhone did and the Google Navigation is excellent; the menus were easier on the iPhone for Google Maps but that might be because the iPhone didn't have as many options as the Android version.

The text messaging irks me on the phone. It doesn't like Group Messaging all that much and sometimes I get a message in a group and other times they come as individual messages; from what I read this is Verizon stopping group messaging. Also, the notification icon for the texts will get stuck on a number sometimes even though all my messages are read. For time being, I've been using Verizon Messages as my texting app as it allows Group Messaging without any problems.

The few things I've mentioned are pretty small considering all things and I would recommend this phone for someone who wants excellent battery life as well as an overall excellent screen with what would be considered stock Android.

Thanks for posting all of your input everyone. I've been eyeing up this little gem since I spotted an ad a while ago. I'm due for an upgrade in a couple of months, and am hoping it will be worth the hassle. My current phone (Samsung Charge, I know, BIG 2 year mistake!) crashes quite often which I then have no choice, but to pull the battery. I'm hoping my crashing issues will be a thing of the past once I upgrade to a better phone.:-[

You should check out the three new devices that were announced just yesterday. The new maxx seems to be a little better on battery life. Also with some faster processing. To be honest why buy a phone that is on its way out when new devices are going to drop at the end of this month. Now as for me I plan on getting my wife the maxx HD because she will be new to android and quite frankly she does not need all the bells and whistles. (Nor a better phone than me)
