Should I have a later OS than 1.5.......

On my Eris? I thought I had read where 1.6x was the latest OTA from Vz. This true?
If so, how do I get it?

There's a lot of rumor lately about the Eris and getting a new OS. The CURRENT OFFICIAL OS is 1.5 as hakoreh has mentioned.

The guy at the Verizon store the other day told a customer that an upgrade to OS 2.0 with the voice search feature was coming soon but we all know how reliable those VZW reps can be lol
