Should I look into a new phone?

I have a 3 year old Droid Turbo and several times a day it will vibrate once, very briefly, but there's either no notification or the notification banner flashes for less than a second and disappears. Any ideas as to what's going on? This only started a few days ago. Should I get a new phone or bring it in?
EDIT: I'm still running on lollipop/Software version 5.1 and when I go to check for an update it says I'm up to date, even thought I should probably be on Marshmallow by now.

Did you install any new apps recently? It could be the new app's notification is set to "on" by default.

You don't have a three year old Droid Turbo. The phone went on sale in late summer, early fall 2014.

Though that sounds right - it should be running Marshmallow by now - Lenovo and Verizon still haven't updated the phone. You're on the latest update.

Honestly, yes. Motorola has ended support of the Turbo in terms of software updates. Kinda sucks considering the galaxy s5 is still supported.
