I took the plunge and financed the Google pixel! Ahhh. Why do I have such buyers remorse haha

I got the 5" Pixel ( Sailfish) Coming from the 6p and the Nexus 6 . I just wanted a smaller phone.

Shouldn't be a long wait. I ordered last Wednesday and it was estimated to ship in mid December. It's on the truck for today.

Thats good news , sounds like they catching up so the supply is meeting the demand quicker then when I ordered.

Yep! This time lol. I want to downsize as well even though I do like looking at the larger screens. They are just too big for me to hold and carry. Guess that is what my iPad is for.

I ordered yesterday mine says estimated delivery November 29 - Dec 1

Where do you live? Is Fi coverage strong in your area? I wanted to try it out but I'm currently tied into AT&T. The coverage doesn't seem great for me in central NJ. Also, no HD voice, VoLTE, WiFi calling. Not that I'll get any of that on AT&T with my pixel, grrr

I'm not sure how the Fi coverage is - CT - should be finding out soon though.

Fi does have wifi calling.. Unless you mean att. Not sure about VoLTE. It would depend what carrier maybe since Sprint doesn't have it but T-Mobile does.

Oh ok but not HD voice. So pissed att doesn't have HD voice for the pixel. It is what has kept me from getting the device.

Yeah. AT&T doesn't want to play ball with these unlocked phones. Not sure why since Verizon and T-Mobile do. So far from my testing HD voice, VoLTE, Band 12, and WiFi calling all work just fine on my Pixel XL -- just like a T-Mobile branded phone.

The Pixel Verizon/T-Mobile deal may be start of something new in cell service. If I ran the zoo, there would be a phone store and a provider store - you buy a phone and then get whatever provider you want.
I buy a truck at the truck dealer - then get whatever gas I want to power it

Well the T-Mobile thing has been around since Android added WiFi calling. Well maybe not the second it was but very shortly after. Verizon eventually got on board. AT&T I am sure could as well if they wanted to use the native WiFi calling within Android to get it going.

I may move to a smaller one in a generation or so, but only if they finally release an updated (Pixel) version of the ole' faithful Nexus 7.
