Should I replace my Blackberry with the Bionic?

I came from a bold 9650.... well got the bionic and I am not looking back! Boot times about 1:30 instead of a good ol 5 minute wait, plus the camera is awesome, and 4g lte? come on! for me was a no brainer!

i also came from blackberry and the 9650, five year loyal user. i made the switch back in may and the first month was a little testy for me and i wanted to switch back. i think it was just being a little resistant to change and things being what they were with the bb. after settling in with my X2 my only regret is not getting a device with a ffc. android is light years ahead of blackberry.

My last bb was the Storm 2. I hated that phone. The memory bleed, overpriced apps, and regular battery pulls, you couldn't pay me to go back to bb.

I moved from a storm2 to a Bionic. It is taking a bit of getting used to, but so far I'm very happy with my Bionic. I would rather sync my contacts with outlook and live mail, but I guess Google mail will do....
it just takes a bit of getting the hang of droid things...:D

I have a Blackberry 9650 which works well but has a slow browser. I want to replace it with one of the Droids...maybe the Bionic or Incredible 2. I am seeing a lot of issues with the Droid Bionic and Droids in general.
I know the batteries are an issue but do these things work. I never have issues with the BB,
Like I mentioned, I want to replace it with a Droid but is it worth what looks to be a hassle.
Thanks

I had an original Storm for 2 1/2 years, and Android and the Bionic definitely require a mindshift. Email is definitely better on BB, and profiles are much better and more customizable. But that's what apps are for. Anything you can't do on an Android, you can find an app for. I've had the Bionic for a week now, and while I'm still not used to it, I'm loving it.

Re: Please help me with this....

I also switched from a BB and love my Bionic. My wife isnt due for upgrade till next month and she cant wait to trade her BB in for a Bionic, or another Droid if something better comes out by then.

RIM users are a dying breed, theres just so much more you can do with every other smartphone on the market.

I am in the same scenario, I have had a BB 9650 for the past year and am looking to switch. I will definitely miss the keyboard, battery life and the small(ish) size. I am a little worried about the size of the Bionic and how it will feel in my pocket (verizon won't let it off the stand to test out) and the battery life. Many times my BB will die at night and I'll have to adjust to carrying an extra battery or charging throughout the day. I'm sure ill miss bbm, but i use gchat now and it is more than an ample replacement.

Ugh, choices choices choices

I came from a Storm 2 the first day the Bionic was released. I got the phone off the VZW store for $300, at the time I thought that was stupid of me but boy was I wrong. This phone is everything I thought it would be, going from a Storm 2 to a Bionic was just a mind boggling difference to me. Now my Storm 2 just sits in a drawer along with my enV2 from back in the day.
