Should I swap to a galaxy S4

Well I just did that myself,I had the iPhone 5 and it was a great device but limited,so I made the switch and not looking back at the decision at all.

It all has to do with personal preferences and not really "which is better". For example, another reason I prefer iPhone is the ability to view the screen in bright sunlight. It's a bit better than S4. I am outdoors a lot in the summer and need to be able to at least see who is calling. S4 is nearly impossible to see in sunlight. Some may not care about that but that is one huge difference between any iPhone and any Amoled screen.

Most of the problems that people complain about with regard to the S4 (getting warm, battery life, etc) I cannot replicate for the life of me. And, I absolutely love the phone.

But, the criticism of outside readability is dead-on. That is definitely a shortcoming of this phone.

Id say go for it... but Id try multiple phones. I dont like the S4 at all. Some are in denial... but it has a lag issue. (example it has 2GB or RAM... and with normal running conditions you are using over 1GB. but on my Nexus 4 with 2GB of RAM, I am only using .5GB with normal use. My Nexus 4 is far smoother.
just my 2 cents. Dont shoot me S4 users.

If you are looking for a seamless wireless experience, I recommend iSyncr. The user interface will be familiar to you as it copies your music and video library folders on your phone. All you do is select the folder and the download starts immediately.

For photos, just use dropbox. It is a much better experience than itunes and has better consistency across devices than photostream.

This is coming from someone who was heavily vested in the apple ecosystem.

Went from the IP5 to the S4. The S4 is so much better. I use Doubletwist and AirSync to move my music wirelessly from my MacBook Pro to my S4( onto the 32 GB SD card). Doubletwist works just like Itunes; it even looks like Itunes. You move your music into the Doubletwist library then make playlists, etc and sync it to your S4 wirelessly. Great product. The S4 is great.

I've used isyncr, both wired and wireless for over a year flawlessly. Used it back when I had an S3 as well. All 9,000 songs and playlists are copied perfectly from iTunes. :-)

This!

I was in the same boat. An Apple diehard. I've had every iPhone on launch day from the original iPhone. It was only recently that I just got "bored" with iOS from using it so many years, and it never really changing. I decided first to try a Windows Phone (Lumia 1020, just wanted to check out the camera really) and what a mistake that was. Windows Phone absolutely sucks. Then I traded the WP in for an S4 and wow, I can't believe everything I have been missing on iPhone. The options and things you can do on the Android are almost limitless in comparison. Apple is very proprietary and they don't open up a lot of the API's to let 3rd party developers change how the phone actually looks and feels. That's opposite on the Android phones, you can pretty much customize every last little aspect you can possibly think of on it, and I think that's awesome!

Make the switch, I really don't think you will be disappointed. I use "Easy Phone Sync" to sync up my music from iTunes to my S4.

Glad I wasn't the only one feeling like this.
