Should I upgrade Note 3 Neo to 4.4.2 KitKat?

Hi!
I am from India. I have ordered a Note 3 Neo and its on the way. I have heard so many people complaining about the 4.4.2 update and how unstable is it and how problems started after updating to 4.4.2. Has this been solved? Should I update? I can live without an updated version than an unstable one.
Also, how to get other updates without the 4.4.2 one. How many updates did you receive before the kitkat package like some system updates? Please help.

If you ordered the device, and it's being shipped, chances are that it may come loaded with the latest available. If it doesn't, I'd still suggests updating.

If you're familiar with Android, and the ability for any app to write any files anywhere on the external SD card, updating to KitKat is going to get used to. External storage is now the same as internal storage - an app can only write to a folder it owns, or is part of a group that has group rights to the folder (or is running as root). No more downloading a file, running an editor on it, then having the app it was downloaded for making modifications to it.
