Should I use Poetic Revolution or the Defender?

Anyone leaving the factory screen protector on with the Defender?

I ordered a poetic revolution today and bought a Otterbox Defender also and was wondering for people using these type of cases are you leaving the factory screen protector on?

Also has anyone removed the built in screen protector on the Defender with the v20? It's junk.

I removed the Defender's built in screen protector. It is terrible, as usual. I was using the Defender with the plastic screen protector that came with the V20 for a while. Then I replaced with the Spigen glass screen protector. I say for sure remove the built in Defender one.

Ironic the one on the S7 edge fits tight to the screen because it's made out of a different material than most Defenders. At least I can buy a real screen protector or temper glass now since this has no curves!

Yes, remove the screen from the Defender (slowly...) and install a tempered glass. The Defender built in usually is not perfectly pressed against the glass; it's floats in some sections. So often the touch sensitivity suffers has you have to mash down a little firmer from time to time to use the screen. The tempered glass lies directly on the screen so touch sensitivity is significantly better. Plus, the Defender built in tends to scratch, get a foggy look to it. Tempered glass minimizes fingerprints. Curious why people keep choosing Otterbox Defenders, as they are bulky. If it's the belt clip (omg, even 'I' just carry my big phone in my pocket now; I was a prior worrier about pocket carrying). There are better cases, slimmer, coupled with a tempered glass have just as much protection. Even Otterbox has their newer Symmetry line for sleekness or Tech 21 (which has some clip choices). Thin is in....except for my waistline!

I bought both cases, the Revolution by Poetic and the Otterbox Defender. The Defender is thicker but a larger part below the camera is exposed, but the camera overall is still down pretty deep but the Revolution covers around the camera more.

Anyone else using the defender for carrying the phone in the pocket or having any issues with it?

Btw the screen protector on this Defender is garbage and I'm going to remove it. The screen looks so much nicer with that factory protector LG puts on it removed.

I've tried several protectors but I've had the best results with a wet install IQ Shield followed by a very expensive Incipio flexible "glass" (not really glass but they advertise it as such).

I'm just going naked for awhile since I put nothing else in my right pocket with it.

Got the screen protector off of the defender. Really nice with the screen naked!! hard choice between the Defender and Poetic Revolution. Both good cases. I think the Defender provides more shock protection though and the camera and home button well is pretty deep on it.

The Revolution has a decent screen protector and I'm leaving it on it. I like the buttons on the revolution more though not quite as stiff. Main thing I don't like about the Revolution is that the port covers are then and I can see them possibly breaking over time since they're not very thick.

I don't like how big the opening is on the defender

I'm not a big fan of it as well. The opening and that it's VERY deep makes it harder to find the unlock button compared to the poetic where it's easy to find it since it's a small opening and not as deep. I can see making it deep for protection for drops but it's a little overboard I think. The poetic isn't as deep but deep enough to protect the fragile camera in a fall.
