Should I wait for project ars?

So I just bought the HTC One M8 and I love it to death, but would it be worth it to wait for project ars to come out? I love the fact that building a smartphone is finally becoming a reality, but what if it doesn't hold up to its hype? Any comments or opinions or similar situations? I appreciate all meaningful responses

Well you already got the M8, whic is one of the latest phone. Are you looking to buy another phone released after the M8, like the Lg G3, or Nexus 6, or Moto X+1, Note 4?

Project Ara is a great idea but I wouldn't wait. Buy what you like when you like.

I really plan on keeping the M8 for as long as possible , I'm not really into buying the latest phones except with this one .

ara wont be out for a while and when it does come out, theres still gonna be problems, unsupported things etc....

Google right now has the ambitious goal of getting Project Ara out in a year's time. That's an aggressive timetable, and I honestly would be surprised if they managed to make it. At best expect the first Ara phones to arrive mid 2015. If you can wait that long go for it.

Paul Eremenko, the team leader on Project Ara, said that the base model will go on sale in January 2015 for around $50.
