Should I worry about the internet?

Re: can an ISP block websites or apps?

So net neutrality is basically all about internet speeds

I read the link. Seems like this has been going on for a lot longer than I thought and from what I seen net neutrality has never really been a law except in new York. And I seen that time warner wanted to make it to where you pay for a certain amount of data a month in 2009 but people stood up against it and they ended up not doing it. So do you think if Comcast tried the same thing that people would do the same thing?

Yes.

Same. I mean everyone uses the internet and I don't think people or our government will let that happen.

since net neutrality is done for I am worried that the internet will end up sucking and that internet service providers will start blocking a lot of content and making it to where we don't have an open internet anymore. should I worry about this? will internet service providers block a lot of content like social sites and things? please help thanks.

Trust me if there's a site that you want to visit that's blocked in your country there's always a way to access them...

Even on an android phone? And since there's a way does that men that they most likely won't even try to block sites because they know we'll get around it

Because what would be the point if they did.

Yes even on an Android phone you can access blocked sites and they block sites so the majority of people can't go on them but people who know how to unblock them can still use them, I'm not sure which sites your talking about but if it's things like Facebook / Twitter then there are what is known as mirror sites you can Google it to find them out....

What site are you so worried about? Your worry seems a bit excessive. Just curious. :)

You can "what if" until the cows come home. Nothing will change the fact that for the time being, there's not much for you to worry about, and your excessive worrying is a bit ridiculous.
