Just got my G5 a few days ago and I really wish I loved the camera, but I don't yet. The wide angle is great, but what about the regular lens? Some of you have posted gorgeous pictures, am I missing a trick or a setting? I wish they were clearer, crisper.

The upsidedown bit, I really don't know. Are you giving a tap on the screen for your focus point?

I do not have this phone. I was doing my research for a new phone. I could not leave this thread without saying WOW! Phenomenal bunch of photos. Detail is amazing. Indoor shots in low light show no sign they were shot in lower light. The wide angle is friggin amazing. I have two grandchildren and take a lot of shots with my phone. THANKS for putting them up.I am just editing this post to say I just went back through these shots and I am going to have to buy this phone even though I have 8 months left on my Turbo(original). I find myself loving the pics and going through each one to like them. Any downside that I should know? I'd prefer a bigger battery but since it is replaceable I will get a second. Thanks ALL!

no filters, picture was taken on my desk, the only lighting was coming in the window to my right (I actually closed the blinds a bit because at first I had too much light coming in), and I just cropped a bit to get rid of excessive background.

I've tried both ways, setting focus and not, and I still can't seem to get the detail and clarity others are getting.

I took a camping trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness with a couple friends last week and decided to leave my Nikon D800 at home and put my G5 to the test. I must say, it did not disappoint at all!
