Had the phone since November as a Review unit from Huawei South Africa, who have been kind enough to let me keep the phone even longer.

Nice to see you too and great shots thereI own both the M10 Pro and the Note 8 and find the Note to be a more consistent shooter and better for lowlight and way better when filming.

My M10 has the screen-dimming issue and it is really annoying. I have contacted Huawei and they are aware of the issue and a fix should be on the way.

Haha! You and I both! I also own a Note8 that's generally my daily driver, but Huawei keep extending my review period with the Mate10 Pro so I keep switching between the two, lol.

Note8 is definitely the far more consistent shooter, I know exactly what to expect each time I take I pic with it, whereas with the Mate10 it can either be incredibly beautiful or a tad disappointing requires a lot more stability.

Me too it's so annoying, supposedly they have a fix out but I went back to my Pixel2XL because of it.
