Little eye! So beautiful!

Finally started taking photos with my Ultra. So far pretty impressed. I feel like this photo of a beer glass with the reflection could be some weird kind of artwork if half the pizza weren't gone.

Sorry, I need to figure out how to rotate these images when posting to AC.
Just running them through an editing app like Snapseed will solve the rotation issue. You don't have to make any actual changes. It's a known forum bug .

Nice comparison snaps there.
It’s a shame. I have a S21 U coming on Sunday. Currently on an iPhone 12 Pro and I like the camera experience for the most part but do miss having a decent zoom. One area the iPhone is garbage at.

I was hoping the pics would be a little close to the competition in terms of colour and contrast as that’s what virtually every reviewer has said so far. Even in comparison pics to the S20 Ultra the punchy over exposed colours seem to have died down, but in your test cases here that’s not the case at all.

I do think Google have well and truly spoiled all of us with their still camera for years. It’s just the best for point and shoot I’ve ever used.

I think one area pixel and iPhone has it nailed down is going objects and pics of kids or pets which most people take photos of. S21 Ultra from what I have seen is not great still in these areas but maybe it can be improved but not convinced it will. stills of still objects though it''s as good as any from the samples I've seen

I've been taking indoor pics of the kids and pets for the last day side by side with the 4xl and the ultra really struggles. There's a notifications shutter lag on the ultra versus the instant snaps on the pixel. Anything with motion still comes out blurry on the ultra more often than not. It's disappointing, but it's the same as every other Samsung phone so it was expected.

I'll be returning it for other reasons too, but other than the acton photos and some of the software, it's a really great phone. Samsung just needs to stop changing things from stock Android for the sake of being different.

I still haven't had the time to learn the camera so these are taken using the 3x lens. I did shoot the first one in portrait so I could mess with the bokeh but the other two are in the automatic photo mode. All of them used auto focus as I did not tap the screen. Lastly, because they we're not shot in Pro mode and this perch is in front of a bay window with bright sun shinning in, I had to adjust the shadows to correct the exposure but that's all I touched.

They are really trashing the camera here

I haven't taken that many pics! I attached three pictures only one came out and it is sideways. This is Nelly. Why do they come out sideways on my phone? I'm using the app!

Was really hoping Samsung had this fixed as the S21 Ultra looks like a pretty nice device, but this is the exact reason I bailed on the other Sammy devices I had.

This is the reason I will likely be leaving Samsung (currently on Note 10) and heading to the Pixel...or maybe even the iPhone. I'm tire of missing out on good photos of my kids when indoors.
