I grew up in a farming ranching area in Colorado. Milking cows by hand is fun and interesting...until you have to do it every morning! Some cows don't mind be milked by hand. But most of the time this is all done by machines now

I figured as much. I'm sure everyone who has cows still needs to know how to milk them by hand in case the machine breaks. I think it would be relaxing and soothing from the warmth of the cow if leaning against her.
